The very thought of spending a long weekend at Miraval resort and spa is enough to make us fatten up our piggy banks and start making a YOLO WELLNESS dream board.
The little slice of desert paradise has been consistently ranked by Conde Nast Traveler, SpaFinder and Travel + Leisure, encouraging guests to “live life in the moment.” Their treatments and accommodations have made Miraval the kind of place yours truly would put on her bucket list (before “See the Northern Lights,” but after “Get squiffy with Princess Anne”).
On Tuesday, the resort launched “Miraval Gives Back,” a program designed to give the gift of healing to those facing challenging and/or life-threatening events.
Each month, a committee will select one deserving individual to enjoy a 3-night, all-inclusive stay at the resort, where he/she will have direct access to the resort’s specialists, learn how to manage stress, and acquire the tools needed to achieve a more mindful lifestyle.
The program promotes the resort’s belief in providing guests with a unique wellness experience.
What’s especially rewarding about “Miraval Gives Back” is that it recognizes that not everyone has the resources to enjoy a stay at the all-inclusive resort.
The individual would have access to expert advice on topics like managing stress, developing better sleep patterns, and living their absolute best life.
In addition, guests can participate in fitness classes, outdoor activities, meditative sessions and innovative spa services.

“Helping guests cultivate a mindful, healthy lifestyle is the cornerstone of the Miraval philosophy,” says Michael Tompkins, CEO of Miraval Resort & Spa. “However, not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to visit our resort to relax, recover and rejuvenate. ‘Miraval Gives Back’ enables us to offer a Miraval experience to those that need it most.”
