With loads of fresh strawberries, tart cherries, and basil, this cocktail is basically summer in a glass — making it the perfect way to brighten up the dullest of winter days. The real star of the show here is the Suja Spark juice, which is the perfect blend of tart and sweet, with just a hint of spiciness from the cayenne. And with only 12 grams of sugar per serving, it’s a much healthier alternative to other juice and soda mixtures.
Throwing in a little club soda helps keep the sugar down, too — plus, bubbly drinks are so much more fun.
Suja Berry Sparkler
Suja Spark juice
Pour 1 shot of vodka into a large glass, then add a couple of strawberry and cucumber slices and a few basil leaves. Muddle everything together so that the vodka becomes infused with the strawberry-cucumber-basil essence.
Remove the muddled ingredients so that only the infused vodka is left. Add a generous splash of Suja Spark juice, along with a little lime juice, then taste and adjust ingredients as you desire (muddling more strawberries or mint into the mixture, adding more Suja Spark juice, etc.).
Add ice to a cocktail glass, then pour the mixture into the glass, topping off with club soda and a garnish of basil leaf and cucumber. Enjoy the liquid fruits of your labor!
